Hostgator is not the first service provider I have been with, but they are my favorite. The service is inexpensive (I pay $9.95 a month to host unlimited sites) and in the year that I’ve been with them, I have experienced very little down time. When first signing up with Hostgator I was a little worried about the quality of the hosting I was going to get because the service is so affordable but it took no more than a couple of weeks for me to see that I found a winner.
One of things I appreciate most about Hostgator is their support. Every time I have a question or concern I can shoot them an email or hop on to the online support center and get everything handled in a couple of simple steps. It is easy to pay for the service through any major credit card or a Paypal account which is convenient for me as I need to change payment methods frequently.
I have never had any complaints by website visitors about down-time, and I have many repeat visitors as I run a blog that features new recipes each week. This is something I had a problem with at other hosting providers such as GoDaddy. I actually pay less for my service than I did at GoDaddy yet I get a lot more bang for my buck. If there is anything I would like to see improved at Hostgator, it would be their website and client navigation. I don’t enjoy using my account because I find it confusing.
