I chose to host my site with GoDaddy because that is where I purchased my domain name, suitupshop.com, from. I figure it would be easier to keep everything under one roof. The set up was really easy. I chose to go with a WordPress plugin because I was familiar with their platform.
When I started I had no idea how to actually design a website so it took me some time and a lot of trial and error to get it looking like I wanted it. I called customer service a few times and they were very nice and seemed to really know their stuff. They walked me through a few things with no problem.
I get calls from the GoDaddy sales team now and then trying to upsell me on some features but that’s okay. I know we are all just trying to make some money.
I had a pretty hard time setting up my shopping cart and getting all the features that I wanted. I sell custom made suits and it was difficult to get all the different fabrics and styles to show up properly. After some time I got it to where I wanted it and customers have had no problem getting exactly what they want.
I haven’t had any problems with the site crashing or being down for any period of time. Overall, I am very satisfied with GoDaddy. I know there are a few other hosting sites that are a bit cheaper but I like the ease with which I created my site. It all was very seamless.
