Hello, my name is Joe McPherson and I’m pleased at the opportunity to review the web hosting company that is hosting my website www.themorningmessage.com. My hosting company is Go Daddy. I’ve kind of grown slowly in my use of a web site and in the services I need from a hosting company. At first, all I needed was a website for my fledgling construction company. All I really needed was some good content and a Paypal button so that my customers that wanted to pay with a credit card could go on my sight and use the button. Minus the fee, I could get paid.
This worked out pretty well. My needs never got that complex so I was happy to pay the web master charge and the hosting fee. All for under 30.00 a month. This met my needs as long as I was in the construction business. When the economy went south and there were no more homes to build, I got into Internet marketing. Now, I really needed some of the other services that Go Daddy had to offer. I built my own sight this time in MS Publisher and I found that my 2007 copy was already out of date with much of the go Daddy systems, and as such, I couldn’t get as much technical support as if I had used their Website Tonight program as I did last time. They were pretty helpful in getting me familiar with Filezilla, however, their website uploading platform.
The many e-mails that came in were kind of a pain. That is, until I wanted one of their promo codes to renew my site at a discount. Then, I went back to my inbox and got it, and it worked out well. In all, more positive stuff than negative.
