Hosting a WordPress blog on BlueHost could not be simpler. When I decided to make the switch to using WordPress on my site, BlueHost took the guesswork out getting WordPress up and running. Through the C-Panel, you can easily install WordPress and BlueHost walks you through the setup process.
As for their pricing, BlueHost is affordable, but I was a bit surprised by my first bill. I thought I was being charged per month; only, I was hit with a charge for the entire year. Thankfully my credit card had enough room to cover this. They have an auto-renewal payment, which is what I do so I don’t forget to pay my bill. I like this feature. They send an email before the auto-renewal is charged to my card, so I know to expect the charge.
I have only experienced 2 short windows of downtown since I started using BlueHost (one scheduled, one unexpected). While no one likes to have their site down, BlueHost has been pretty quick about getting my site back up and running.
I wish the C-Panel were a bit more user friendly. You can, ultimately, find everything you are looking for, but as a non-tech person, I originally found it to be a bit overwhelming. However, in researching other hosting options, I found the BlueHost is one of the more user-friendly sites.
If you are looking for an easy-to-use hosting company to host your WordPress blog, BlueHost is a great option.
