I came to BlueHost as a newbie in terms of web hosting plans. I was wanting to create a simple website for my writing business and just needed the very basics. I have been quite pleased with the site because of its pricing, the ease of use on its dashboard, and the range of options available to the account.
For the money, BlueHost can’t be beat. Unlike some of the other providers I checked out, BlueHost offers unlimited bandwidth, storage, and emails. Admittedly, my site is small and doesn’t require a ton of space like a more sophisticated site, but knowing that I don’t have any limitations on what I can upload and post provides great value for the amount of money I pay.
Another great thing about BlueHost is its dashboard. I found it to be intuitive, easily navigated, and full of helpful tools. For example, the control panel separates related services into easy-to-understand groupings. Under the “Site Builders” tab, four builders like WordPress and even a mobile site builder are one click away. The same is true for mail, scripts, and other tools. I like the fact that you don’t have to be a programmer to get your site up and running quickly.
The options available on the account are pretty impressive. If you have an e-commerce site, BlueHost provides the same promotional opportunities as everyone else, e.g., Google, Facebook, and Bing; many with free promotional credits from $25.00-$100. This single feature more than pays for the annual cost of the hosting account.
Overall, I am glad I found BlueHost. The cost, ease of use, and available features combine to make it the right choice for me.
