As an owner of many sites of all kinds, from new webpages to established sites, I must work with many hosting companies. Don’t get me wrong, you can work only with one, but I like to know everything that is new in the world of hosting, even if this means a little more work with the hosting companies. I have several sites hosted by BlueHost, and I think I can give you an authorized opinion about it.

The site looks great, and it is also fast. I am always surprised about those hosting companies that have a slow site. I mean, how could you offer good hosting as long as you can’t host your own webpage in a professional manner? From this point of view, BlueHost scores maximum. It also offers free scripts and installation for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and I must tell you this is important if you need many small sites.

This is a feature that is not given by too many hosting companies, but it is useful. You can test any site with the virtual cPanel, so you could see what kind of hosting is suited for your site. I am always testing my sites with this tool before launching them online, and this tool gives me an idea about the potential resources consumed by the site.

I will not bore you by talking about unlimited disk space and domains, as this is common for all the hosting companies (or at least for the professional ones). However, BlueHost has some great features that you will like and use.

The price of $6.95 per month might seem a little big high for beginners. And it is. However, for people having many sites, the multitude of services offered by BlueHost surely worth the money. Yes, you can find hosting for $2 a month, but you will certainly need to pay $2 for every new website you have. Bottom line, the number of facilities and services offered by BlueHost surely worth $7 a month.
BlueHost cPanel
The cPanel is easy to use and intuitive. I specially like hosting sites like BlueHost that has the cPanel in the same browser as the main site. For other companies, another page opens and sometimes I am lost between all those pages. In the cPanel, you can easily create the SQL databases, new subdomains, and you can also use the sitebuilder.
BlueHost Scripts
As said before, BlueHost gives a great support when it comes to scripts. Your site will look great after using them, and this is the main reason why I am using BlueHost. You can install a blog, a forum or a CMS in seconds, and the speed is better than the average.
BlueHost Support
I like the toll free numbers as I really need to speak with my hosting companies often. The customer service of BlueHost answers in less than 30 seconds usually, and they have all the answers at their disposal without that “Let me check” that annoys me so much.
